Wow this is really cool! I really like the leaves or whatever it is that you have the watch sitting on. Gives it balance and texture. The colors are very nice too. Gives off that antique feel which is very nice. I like that kinda thing. I think the way you executed this picture was done very well. You have something as simple as this watch with the rustic looking colors, texture and its eye popping I think! I would like to see more of these pictures. Not exactly sure what advice or tips I should give considering that i am not sure all of what you have tried. I am a big fan of photos that are done in black and white or sepia but the color in this is lovely. Reminds me of a cool autumn day :)

I saw this, and the first thing that came to mind was an old scene from the wild, wild west. When I looked deeper into the image, I saw the time 4:09... not entirely sure if the hands are frozen in place or if it's AM or PM. Judging by the photograph, it was probably PM. But I could be wrong.

Impact: The moment I saw this, I felt nostalgic. As If i'd been taken back into a time when people used to wear watches like this. I wondered what was going on - who the owner of the watch might have been, what they might have gone through during their lifetimes, and what was going on around the world when this watch stopped working. Frozen still.

With regard to technique - you did okay in that area. What impressed me wasn't so much the technique used, bur rather, the angle, aesthetics and background/foreground settings! That's what turns this photograph from just a stock photograph to a genuine work of photographic art.

Quartz... there's a reason they call it that. Quartz is probably the most resistant to toe forces of nature. It doesn't weather, whereas other things in nature decompose and weather away (If i'm wrong about this, please feel free to correct me). Quartz is one of the few things that endures... and I can say this... it's work like this that endures. I don't care if you're looking at this in 2013 or 2030... it'll still retain beauty and artistic appeal.

Well done. Keep up the excellent work. :iconclapplz:
